Before/ After

Well, we've continued with the remodeling and updating of our house. The kitchen has been transformed into my favorite part of the house. Which is saying something because it was the most disgusting, rotten, unhealthy, and by far the ugliest part of the entire house. We now have new walls, cabinets, granite counter tops, appliances, sink, faucet, blinds, and light fixtures. It looks amazing!! :)

Work is going great! Tyler and I are both working at the same school and really enjoy the students. I can't believe I am over half way finished with my first year of teaching!!! I thought I'd feel like a pro, but I still feel like there is so much to learn!! I will probably always feel that way though.

Tyler is now working as a full time instructor in the 6th grade. He is really enjoying the older grades. He's really good with them and is working with an amazing teacher. Switching to full time has made it harder for him to get school done as fast as he did before but he is still working hard through Western Governors.

We are looking forward to spring break because Tyler got an employee discount on a Princess Cruise for working for Princess Cruises over the summer in Alaska! We are also using our Southwest miles to get to Florida. Yes, it is a Caribbean Cruise!!! I am soooooo excited!!! Another reason why working the summer in Alaska is amazing!!

Oh!!! We started using our crock pot and are in search of delicious recipes so if you know of any please share!!! Alright and now for some house pictures....

Before:

I wasn't about to cook on that thing!!!
Scary, moldy, gross, unhealthy, sick, disgusting things all hiding under our sink!!
One more before picture! Notice the light fixtures too!

There were two of these in our living room!!! They were one of the first things to go!
After!

Much Better!!
During (not sure why my typing is now underlined)

AFTER!!!!!
AFTER!!!!
Present!!!
I love my kitchen and am no longer afraid to cook in it!!! Our house smells so much better now that the mold is out!!! :)

I love your kitchen! What a difference it makes to have a kitchen you want to be in. I don't know if you've seen this blog or not, but there are TONS of really good crock pot recipes http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/
