Awww... Hawaii was AMAZING!! The most beautiful place I've ever seen! Tyler had our vacation planned out perfectly. We didn't waste a minute out there. The latest we slept in was 7:15 am. We rented snorkeling gear for the weak and snorkeled every day! It was incredible! Anyways, I'll just post pictures and describe those.
So first we drove with Carson, Lauren, and Garrett Brown. They went to a different island, but both our flights left out of the LAX at about the same time, so we decided to save some money on gas and car pool! It was so fun driving with them. They were hilarious, especially the times when all three rode in the back. It was like Tyler and I were the parents and they were our little kids fighting in the back, "Don't touch me. You're taking up all the room. Don't do that. You're gross!" hahaha, it was so funny. Ha, we love you guys!

And what would be a trip through St. George without a stop at In-n-out burger? Lame! Obviously, we had to get some food there. It's tradition! And yes, we were so very excited we took super silly pictures! We're Hot we knows it!

Precious!!

Me on the plane so excited to fly to HAWAII!!!! :D :D

So when we got to Maui we got our awesome rental car (pictures below) and began our drive to our condo. Well, a half hour and we were driving along the coast. We stopped at the first look out point and Tyler saw his first whale in the wild!!!! It was so fun!! They were a couple miles out into the ocean but it was still cool. Well, we got back into the car and began our drive once again. While we are cruising along listening to our favorite Hawaiian music station we notice something at the corner of our eyes. A WHALE BREACHING!!! Multiple times!!!! Thirty minutes in Hawaii and we saw a whale super close to the shore full body out of the water breaching!!!! It was amazing!!!! Tyler was freaking out!! Oh, it was incredible!!! So cool! Well, it breached about five or six times. What a way to start off our Hawaiian vacation! :)
DRUM ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUR AMAZING CONDO RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!!! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Our Ride...

Awwww, the ocean!!! Now this is what I call a vacation!!
So day two of Hawaii we woke up at 5:30 am and took off on our long drive around the island. It's called the Road to Hana. This was so beautiful! The road was pretty scary though! It was full of sharp turns and one-lane bridges (always yield to locals). But it was spectacular!

These were our favorite tree trunks! Look at all the colors on there!!! So cool!

Along the road we found this beautiful little pool with a waterfall. The water was SO Cold!!! Ty had the guts to jump in, but not for very long. ha.

Okay, so this is our famous Flash Flood story... So Ty and I crossed this small river to look at this pretty TINY waterfall. It had been sprinkling, and was gradually raining harder and harder. Well, Ty read that if we hike up this SUPER MUDDY hidden trail, we would find another waterfall that is perfect for standing under and getting pictures of standing behind a waterfall. So we began our muddy adventure.
TINY WATERFALL

Okay, so we made it up the muddy trail and found this. Umm, call me crazy but we were not about to stand under that thing!! ha, we were a bit confused, but didn't think too much about it. We took a few pictures and headed back down.
Big Waterfall that was supposed to be Little

So then we start hiking back down the wet trail, when we came to this... You see, we had crossed this not ten minutes before and the water was fully four or five inches below the rocky cement path. Now the water had risen a few inches above it! We thought we had gone the wrong way, but then realized that the water had actually risen over where we had walked!!!! Just then some locals reached the other side. They were confused as well. They had never seen this before. We tossed our backpack to them and got up our courage to cross. Okay, so I need to explain the situation a little better. To the left you see a pool of rushing water that leads into a tunnel where if we fell in it would have sucked us right through. To the right it is a thirty foot cliff with jagged rocks and rushing water at the bottom. SCARY!!!!
Well, we took off our flip flops and stepped onto the wall. Luckily the water never gets that high so there wasn't any moss or anything to make it slick. So we were able to get across that part. Thank goodness!!!

This was the next part we had to cross to get back down. Our new local friends took this picture. Below us is a 45 foot drop into a rushing river and then there's the water traveling through the canal we are crossing on and that's rushing super fast perpendicular to the water 45 feet below. This played tricks with your eyes. It was crazy!!!

On the way down I fell into the mud. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand!!!!! if you look behind me you will see the TINY Waterfall that has now turned into a HUGE waterful!!!!!!! Yup, that's the same waterfall as the one a few pictures up! There's another picture below!

Previously TINY waterfall, now HUGE!!! What the heck!!! And we still had to cross this river!! With help from the locals we all made it accross same.

Unfortunately I lost my flip flop in the rushing river water! :( (and yes I have a swimsuit under the coat, I just had to wash off my muddy shorts so I could get in the car, ha)

Later on the drive we stopped and went for another hike and found this pretty waterfall. :)

The next hike was to a 450 foot waterfall!! On the way there we walked through a forest of bamboo trees!!! This was so cool!!!!
Freakishly tall waterfall!
Me with huge waterfall.

Ty about to jump off cliff into water. This was a super pretty spot. There were about five or six different pools of water in different levels. You can see the top waterfall falls into a large pool, which overflows into another, and another, and another.... Super pretty!

The next day we relaxed on the beach, snorkeled, and kayaked out into the ocean where we got 15 feet from a mother whale and her baby!!!!!! It was INSANE!!!! We were so close and they just sat still for like two minutes. Unfortunately it was far too choppy for us to bring our cameras. They would have gotten wet. But we got a couple pictures on our water camera of the whales! Super cool!

The Fourth day we went on a all morning/afternoon snorkeling tour. This was so much fun! It was on a big motored raft boat. The first thing we saw were a couple dozen whales breaching and swimming up close to our boat. Oh, it was amazing! We've never seen so many whales in our lives!! Oh, it was so cool!
Next we drove up to this big ship wreck.

Then we drove up to the beach and hung out there for about a half hour. Then a few minutes later we got to our first snorkel spot. The water was pretty cold, but we saw super neat fish and coral!
The second spot we snorkeled at had thousands of small jellyfish and we kept getting stung. Our guides said that the ones we were seeing weren't what was stinging us but it was microscopic ones. They said that they are the mosquitoes of the ocean. ha Kinda scary still. One of our guides also went in with us and she brought up a few friends for us to look at. :) She put them back in the water before we left, no worries! :)

We saw a huge group of spinner dolphins!!!!

And Lots and Lots of Whales!!!

That night we went to this beautiful beach. Makena Beach. The sunset was breathtaking! We played frisbee for an hour and played in the waves. This was the perfect way to end our vacation. Oh, we miss it there!

We were all salty and so we found a public shower on a beach a few miles away, got out some shampoo, and showered real fast in our swimsuits. haha, it was pitch black outside but we didn't want to fly five hours and then drive another 10 hours before showering. We were almost late for our plane, but we made it. :)
Anyways, that's our amazing Spring Break vacation. We can't wait to some day go back!
