We're having a baby!!! I've gotten a few belly shots. I'm not going to lie it's hard gaining weight. It just is! But I know there is a very good reason for it. :) So here I am getting bigger and bigger...

Woah, Belly!! 20 Weeks

My students are super cute about it all. They keep asking how the baby is and if it's a boy or girl. They love hearing about when the baby kicks or I can feel the baby squirming around. My reading class in particular is very interested in the baby. They keep saying, "Mrs. Willis, your belly is so cute!". Then there is one student who has a very special place in my heart that ALWAYS says in his heavy Spanish accent, "What?! She doesn't even look pregnant!! Mrs. Willis, you don't look pregnant!" hahaha! A+++ for you sir! :)

After one difficult morning of nothing fitting I had another student come up to me and say, "Mrs. Willis you can really tell now that there is a baby inside of you!" Tell me about it! Nothing fits! ha!

It's fun though! And some very good news is I have not gotten sick once yet this school year!!!! Well, cold sick that is. Last year I was sick about every two weeks with a sore throat, coughing, lost voice, or runny nose. This year I have stressed TISSUE USE to my class. Picking your nose is not allowed!!! Hand sanitizer, washing hands, and covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough are all a must. My students are doing awesome with that! They don't want to get "the baby" sick. :)

Well, about two weeks ago we found out the gender of our very active baby!! :D Here are the guesses from our friends and family...

Well, it's a GIRL!!!! Yay!! We are so excited. We were both hoping for a girl. And look! Here she is!!

She is very active. The lady doing our ultrasound called her a little stinker because she kept flipping around during the whole thing. :)

I felt her for the first time on October 20th. And have felt her a lot ever since! Tyler felt her for the first time on the 27th. It's been so fun for him to feel her!! It's all becoming a lot more real to him now. :) We can even see the kicks which has been wild!!! This is the first pregnancy thing that I am absolutely loving!!! The joy from feeling and seeing those baby kicks is beyond what I ever expected. I've felt baby kicks before, but when it's your own, it's just heavenly! :) The rest of pregnancy just plain sucks! ha! But this is awesome! :)

A few weeks ago we drove up in the mountains to see the changing leaves. Here are some pictures. Nova loves sticking her head out the window while we drive. :) She LOVES car rides!!! She is totally cool with chilling in the car while you are in the grocery store or doctor's office if it means she gets to go for a ride. :)

I'm starting to look at baby stuff online and it is just so overwhelming! You need soooooo much stuff and I don't even know where to begin! If anyone has any advice please send it our way! :)

Tyler just started his student teaching!! YAY!! He's been working so hard to get his 4 year degree in a year and a half!!! And the end is coming!! He graduates in April!!! We will have to have a big celebration because I have never seen him work so hard for so long!! He is very determined to get it all done earlier than anyone would have expected! He's already an excellent teacher and when he has his own classroom he is going to make a huge difference in all his students' lives.
