UEA ROCKS!!!

Hello! Well, Tyler and I just got home from a super fun UEA weekend with the Willis'.

Wednesday Tyler and I packed up our stuff and headed up to Idaho right after we got out of school. On our way we stopped by the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake to visit Grandpa Jensen who gave us a bit of a scare last week. We said hello and told him we love him. He's doing a lot better now so that is good. It was amazing. Even though he wasn't totally with us he still had an amazing sense of humor and was throwing out sarcasm every other sentence. ha, he's always had a good sense of humor.

We then drove to Idaho and got to Ty's family's house in Rexburg at about 10 pm. We talked and then went to bed.

The next day Tyler and I got up and packed up all our fishing gear, got our licenses, and then drove out to the snake river to go fishing. We drove his parent's Expedition, which was really good because we ended up driving on rocks and dirt and crazy terrain. It was a lot of fun though! We found a pretty good spot and fished for a few hours. Tyler and I both caught one there. Mine was crazy, because I reeled it in and Ty caught it in the net, then the hook popped off and the worm was still on it!! ha! Way, cool I know!! :) I was just happy because I didn't want it to suffer with the hook in it for too long.

We tried another spot, but had no luck there. Then we met up with Grant (Ty's dad) and Jacob (Ty's brother) and we fished a couple more spots. Tyler and I both caught one more fish. It was a lot of fun and the scenery was beautiful!

After that we got some pizza and went to Grandma and Grandpa Barrott's home to watch the BYU football game. The company and the food was great, but the game was horrifying... ha.

Friday, Tyler and I drove out to Yellowstone! It was sooooooo pretty!!!! We saw Old Faithful, tons and tons of geysers, buffalo, elk, went to Mammoth and hiked around, and we drove along Yellowstone Lake which was absolutely breathtaking! Behind the lake were snow-covered mountains and the water was such a deep blue. It was so pretty!

At about 5:15 we hurried back to Rexberg to watch Jacob who is in the marching band, perform during the high school football half time show. He was AWESOME!!! He did such a good job and looked so cool in his uniform. Ty especially liked the feather on top of the hat. :)

After the show we met up with Ty's cousin Casey and his fiance Ashley. We played the Wii and watched the Simpsons Movie. :)

Saturday we woke up early, ate breakfast and then all Ty's family and I headed out to Bannock, Montana where we walked around and looked at the old town. It's so big! We walked through the old homes, school, hotel, church, jail, and bar. Then we panned for gold and Ty and Grant actually found a few flakes!!! :) ha, we were so excited! :) We then went to Crystal Mountain and dug, shoveled, and sifted for crystals. We found a bunch. :) Then we got dinner at good ol' McDonald's and drove home exhausted. :)

This morning we ate a yummy breakfast and then Tyler and I headed home. Now we're just doing homework and unpacking...back to school, bummer... ha, but at least we had a nice break! :) Anyways, that's all for now, better get back to homework. :)

I know we're lame...

Hello Everybody!
You probably all quit looking at our blog because we struggle with keeping it updated...well I do. :)
The fall is finally here and it's now sweater season!!! Tyler and I are loving it! However, we don't like the cold unless there is snow...:) All these mini storms that may or may not come have been killing us. We want a nice storm to come in and place lots of snow in the mountains that will stay!
Conference Sunday Tyler and I took a drive with Jacob (Ty's little bro) up American Fork Canyon. We saw some amazing colors and the drive was just beautiful. Our goal was to touch snow, but it was just too high. Bummer... But it was still fun! Here are some pictures of what we saw!

As many of you know we went on a Mexican cruise last month. It was so much fun! Tyler's old company that he worked for all summer sent all their top sellers on a cruise. We had a window room, as much food as you could possibly imagine. We went snorkeling, wave running over the ocean!!!( that was so much fun! We would jump so high and then come crashing down and salt water would shower us completely! so fun!), boogie boarding, shopping, and visited a natural water blow hole in Mexico! We played ping-pong and basketball on the deck with the ocean and islands surrounding us! We were waited on whenever we wanted. Our room was made up for us twice a day, and we would come in to find towel animals in our room and mints at night. :) Needless to say, we had a blast! We drove there and back with Garrett and Shae. The drive itself was pretty fun. It was long, but we had fun singing and talking, and making fun of Garrett who slept the whole way up and a lot of the way back. :) It was a lot of fun.

I started my job two weeks ago. It's been going really well. I work at a kiosk in Costco selling blinds and carpeting. It's pretty fun because I get to see and talk to a lot of different people, and I see a lot of people that I know which makes time go by a lot faster. :)

Tyler is starting up his summer sales company with Uncle Brad. Ty's been working hard coming up with ideas, the pay scale, and brochures for the company. He's also now starting to sell dish door to door. So if anyone needs dish or direct tv Ty can get you a good deal. :)

Tyler reminded me that I haven't put anything on here about our new car! ha! Last month right before we left on our cruise we bought an Audi! It's a 2002 A4 Turbo. :) It's been a lot of fun. We got the windows tinted and put a nice Oakley sticker on the back windshield. I'll have to put some pictures on here. We have to clean the car first though. Yesterday we went on an adventure to find Trilobites in a place about 40 miles past Delta. We had to drive 20 miles on a dirt and rocky road. Our car is now very very dusty! So we'll clean it up and post some pictures. :D We love it. :D

Well, I think that's pretty good for now. I'll try and post more often so that our posts are more detailed and less crammed. Now I'll try and make a slide show of our cruise pictures. Much love!
